Yesterday was really nice.
Had lunch with Blakely at El Som. We talked a lot about life. Went to her place, talked more. Decided we were going to do something different to my hair. We ended up bleaching out under my bangs. Except I had a date with Brandon at 8, so I had to wash it out before it was done. And I kinda like it. It's a strawberry blonde color. I've always wanted to be a red head and now I'm kinda rocking it. A little.

Got dressed.
Looked good.
Went to Millhouse and ate a nice dinner with Brandon.

I was gone.
We had a hot tub in our room.
Will and Kristi came to hang out.
Pretty gone.

I'm sleepy.

Warped Tour was fun.
Nothing special.
Andrew and his friend Ben came from Myrtle Beach and met us here in Statesboro and they rode with Jami, Janelle and I to St. Augustine.
I've missed Andrew a lot considering it's been 2 years since I've seen him!
I also ran into a lot of people I know.
Vin. His band Kids of Survival was taking a break from tour and stopped by.
Kyle. I met him like 2 years ago at a Hoods show.
Jake! Used to be in Sleeping Alone, then Twelve Gauge Valentine and now he's filling in for Alesana? Whoever they are. I haven't seen him since TGV stayed with Aimee and I last summer. I love him!
Lesbian that used to work at Hot Topic. We both obsess over Morrissey together. She's AMAZING.
Aaannd Corey. Used to be Josh's roommate. Josh sucks, but Corey was always really cool.

Jami, Janelle and I were just walking around and some tall goofy looking guy stopped to talk to us about piercings and tattoos. Him and I talked a lot about how much people suck while some guy named Andy tried to get in Janelle pants. Jami just sat because she wasn't feeling too well. We hung out with them for a few hours around their tent. I think it was a record label but I don't remember. Probably because I don't care. They were nice guys. Andy and I had a captain crunch competition to see who could catch more in their mouths. Of course I won.

What's weird is..usually at every Warped Tour I'm MISERABLE. I never want to do anything, I can't walk around. Last year I had to sit with Stephen and whatshisface under the Chariot tent so I didn't die.
But this year I felt pretty good. It was hot as fuck, but Vin gave me a fan that I used all day. I didn't start feeling bad until Jami and I got in the Say Anything crowd. I don't know if it was the heat or the anxiety of being surrounded by a bunch of sweaty dirty people, but I gave out. I didn't want to be there anymore. All I wanted was good food, a shower, and my bed.
So at around seven, Jami, Janelle, Andrew, Ben and I got all our shit and went to Chilis. It was awwesoommee.
Got home around midnight, I peaced out and passed out.

I was supposed to go to the beach with Blakely today, but I think I've had too much sun. Raincheck.
So we're hanging out in town today.

I'll edit with pictures later.

Hold my hand lets chase the sun
We both know something's begun
Nothing feels that real without you
Wanna learn so much about you

Shining star I've seen your face
Everything falls into place
Nothing else seems to matter
You bring me to life

Feels so lonely
Won't you show me
Where I need to be
You bring me to life

Feels like the raindrops on my skin
You reach me somewhere deep within
You make my body come alive
You bring me to life

I've been searching for days for my perfect pair of red heels.
Steve Madden has some nice ones, but I haven't seen the right ones.

I ordered some subtle vampire fangs yesterday.
Don't ask.

Warped tour this Sunday with Jami.
I bought a Hannah Montana beach towel at Wal Mart yesterday. It's hot pink and black. Friggin' awesome.
I also bought a mini first aid kit.
I think I'm going to wear a black skirt, v neck and flip flops. I'm not big on getting into the crowds. And wearing shoes would suck if I got water in them. Oh and a bathing suit top under the v neck. Or maybe sports bra.
Because you wanted to know and all.
I can't stop listening to Alkaline Trio.

This weekend!

Warped Tour on Sunday.
Driving back cause Jami has school on Monday.
I rescheduled my 13 roses appointment because I realized I'd be driving 12 hours in one weekend.
No thanks.
It's supposed to rain on Monday, but if it looks clear in the morning, Blakely and I are going to go to the beach for a little while.
I have to be back by 7 because ginger called me today and told me we are getting a hotel on Monday night and having a nice dinner and hanging out in a hot tub in our room.
And I am totally okay with that.

Things are going smoothly.
I cooked dinner for everyone Monday night.
Beer and pasta make a good meal.
I love Kristi and Will.

Donnie Iris is on the radio.
I found a pair of red wedges I want so bad.
But I'm so broke.
Okay, not really but boss is going to be out of town for all next week and Ryan is hopefully going to finish my back! And I'll be giving him a hundo or so. And my other shoulder is going to be another few. And that doesn't include the gas it takes to get there.. Thankfully I have plenty stashed away just in case.
If I do just one more piercing I'm buying them.
I need to take my fat ass to the gym so I can get that boob job.
Even though for some reason, lately I've been craving a cupcake.

I would like to be riding my bicycle at the moment but for now i'm too dizzy to venture on such adventures, so I'll sit here and type.

The sun seems to have burned quite a few holes in my brain because thinking straight requires more effort than normal.

I keep having such realistic dreams that more often than not I can't tell them apart from reality. I find myself thinking 'when did this happen?'
And soon I remember, in another universe, in bed...if I do remember at all.

Does anyone ever feel like what they see on an everyday basis, the interactions they have, the people they observe- are all lacking the main basis of what it is to be alive?

Don't get me wrong- I can't say what it is, or fully formulate it, rather.
But it seems more often than not, people's eyes look plastic, doll-like. They laugh conveniently and look to their friends for the relayed reaction. I could paraphrase what they will say, before they say it..if anything at all.
The magazines, book, youth culture of today is at fault.

It is all ridiculous.
Petty explanations of a universe on a small scope at best, focused on fashion, romantic notions.
I have observed this through the media at my work (magazines, books, some music)
through websites,
people I meet,
people I don't meet,
the world at large.

Once there was a revolutionary movement.
At one point the sting of possible change sizzled on people's skin and they arose each morning in a different state rather than drugged out on today's stagnant society.
And I don't think it's the people's fault, entirely.
We've been programmed by processed food, processed television, processed frame of mind.
Eras before us accomplished the impossible..
what can we do right?

Well I refuse, and I know others that do as well, this notion of generation consume.

I don't think it'd be so difficult to awake others, either.
It's just a matter of ignoring the television once in a while, reading some oscar wilde or an autobiography, relaying with nature.

You know, anything other than fucking around with an x box for seven hours.
I suppose in this way, technology does poison us.
